Wanna guess what starts in a little over 3.5 hours from now?
From September 1 to October 20, a handful of like-minded nutcases and I will be riding our motorcycles and raising funds to support MS Views and News, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to providing education and information to the Multiple Sclerosis community!
The MS5000 motorcycle charity fundraiser!
My goal is to be the top finisher this year. Based on last year’s top finisher, I figure I’ll need to raise $2500 and ride at least 8000 miles in 7 weeks to be in the running.
I get nothing from this except the pleasure of rising to a challenge, but I can’t make my goal alone. So far, people have kindly donated $270 toward my role in the event. It’s a good start, but we still have a way to go to reach the target.
